Sportsbook.com posts odds on PAC 10 and Big 12 Football Games for Week 2

USC and Texas will be the teams to beat according to the odds makers

LOS ANGELES, CA, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The PAC-10's USC Trojans will be gunning for another NCAA Football Championship this year and are the early season favorites according to Sportsbook.com with odds at 6-5. However, the Trojans will face some stiff competition from the Big 12's Texas Longhorns, who come into the season as the second ranked team in the country. Texas is a 7-1 bet to win the national title.

In PAC-10 action this week, Washington State takes on Nevada as a -9.5 point favourite, while UCLA is listed as a -25 point favorite in its match-up with Rice. In the Big 12, powerhouse Kansas State meets Marshall as a -9 point favorite. The Colorado Buffaloes of the Big 12 are listed as -24 point favorites against New Mexico State.

"There will be a lot of attention on USC this year as they try to go another season without a loss," says Peter Childs, Odds Maker, Sportsbook.com. "But if there is one team capable of betting the Trojans this year it's the Longhorns. Texas is football country and they have a great team this year."

Sportsbook.com has also posted odds on who will win the Big 12 Championship now that the conference is going with an official championship game. Texas is the favorite at 3-2 followed by Oklahoma at 8-5, Texas A&M at 10-1 and Missouri at 12-1.
